10 Children in Year 6 are being given the opportunity to participate in an after-school canoeing activity.
Children who participate should feel confident in the water and be able to swim. The first session will be on Monday April 18th.
The children will be picked up from school at 3.15pm on Monday afternoon, and taken to the activity centre by Sainsburys in Ladbroke Grove. They should wear their school PE kits (white t-shirts, navy shorts, navy tracksuit trousers and their school sweatshirts). They will need to bring a set of dry clothes and a towel. They will be wearing a buoyancy aid at all times so you need not worry about their safety. We naturally expect the very highest standards of behaviour as these children are ambassadors for us.
Children who attend will be expected to attend regularly. The cost is £1.00 per half-term.
They should be back in school by about 5.00pm.
