School wins Arts Council Award Print
We're very proud to announce that Queens Park Primary School won the coveted Arts Council Award this year. Queen’s Park Primary school is a Gold Artsmark school and is committed to excellent provision in the arts as a means of supporting the development of language, both oral and written. We are regularly engaged with practising artists, ie ENB, ENO, BBC and often have visiting performers in school, as wll as taking children out. We allocate time for drama every week as part of our English teaching, and we have an excellent school choir who perform regualry at such venues as the RAH, The Wigmore hall, and at local community centres. We have a tradition of Christmas performances, involving all pupils, and a summer ArtsWeek which is entirely given over to creative activities.
