School Policies Print
Our school policies ensure that children are well-supported in every aspect of their learning. Our policy for good behaviour incorporated our simple but effective school rules and our anti-bullying and anti-racist policies.

Children create their class rules in the classrooms negotiated with their teachers. Regular circle times, school council meetings and worry boxes provide opportunities for children to express any concerns. Apart from regular informal contact with parents, the majority (over 90%) attend our tri-annual consultation meetings, which is an opportunity to raise any concerns not already dealt with.

We have worked extremely hard to promote regular attendance and excellent punctuality – so much that we have pushed our targets much further on by closing registers after a shorter period, and refusing to authorise previously arranged holiday periods. Children are happy to come to school!
